Show More or Less Description

Hi Team,

Due to the long texts taking too much space in the right column on product page.
Can you provide css code for the single product layout to add show more/less description button on the two blocks of product short description and additional information. I attached pictures, please check, thank you!

Hide texts from fourth line text.

I followed the guide and finished the set ups, the collapsible content works good in the template but not woks in live site. Kindly check my attached pictures, appreciate for your fix the issues.

I checked your website and found that the issue is not related to the read more/show less setup.

You have multiple custom Single Product layouts created in WoodMart > Layouts Builder. The currently active product condition is still loading your old layout:
“All Products + promotion banner + FBT” while the new layout where you added the collapsible description:

“All Products + Show more description” is not being applied on the frontend.

Please disable/remove the old Single Product layout condition and activate the new layout condition instead. Once the new layout is assigned to all products, the read more functionality will work correctly on the live site.

Note: This is a simple button widget with collapsible content, so it’s not possible to define two different button texts (like “Read more” / “Show less”) within the built-in options. The widget supports only a single static label.

Sorry, but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

It requires customizations, and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
