Show regular price in product grid list when a variable product has a sale price

On a category shop, regular price is not showing in variable products, the variable products has a default variation selected.

So, why is not showing regular price strikethrough and only show sale price in product grid list?

With TwentyTwenty theme happens the same.

I would like to show price and sale price in category list, in variable products, like simple products.

I have selected to show the default variation price, but is not showing price, only sale price, this could be possible?

In WoodMart theme settings I have checked, to only show one variation price.
Hide “to” price
This option will hide a higher price for variable products and leave only a small one.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
As far as we know, variable products don’t show regular + sale price on the shop page in WooCommerce. They show min and max prices for all variations. And our theme function allows you to hide the max price.

In twentytwenty theme, is not showing sale price for variable products in category/shop pages.
