Show related products by subcategory (not parent)

    Hi,

    I would like to show related products on the single product page by subcategory. Here is the problem..
    We have a category named “clothing, shoes and accessories”, In this parent category we have “men’s fashion” “women’s fashion” and so on.

    As a result of this, when related products are shown, they show the women’s clothing mixed with the “men’s” and “Kids”.

    I saw some code to “fix this” while researching it on google. However I trust you guy’s would have something that actually works and I didn’t want to take the risk of trying a code from google.

    Can you help me?

    Related products may be configured by a tab, gather them by groups, and assign tags to show appropriate products. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/
