Simple question concerning the theme

I installed the theme 3 or 4 days ago and I had a problem with woocommerce, and you suggested me to start from scratch, I’m going to do it and put back a backup of my site from before the theme installation, I just wanted to know if I should deactivate it first and then put back the backup of my site?

Hello, i found the problem, it’s was that i didn’t use all the ressources of my hosting and now there is no more problem. Have a nice day
