Single Product Page – Add To Cart Issue with Multi Currency

    When you add a product to the cart on the single product page, it adds the product as the base currency. This only happens on the add-to-cart button and sticky add-to-cart button on the product page. Sample image is attached.

    Also free shipping bars are not compatible with multi currency. It is being calculated incorrectly and free shipping prices are looks extremely high.

    I noticed that it calculates the exchange rate twice.

    Let me explain it like this: Let’s say there is a product worth $100. And multi currency is active. The exchange rate is in a currency that is 3x and we added it to the cart, and it should appear as 300 (currency).

    Since the theme calculates the exchange rate twice, it multiplies it by 3 twice. In other words, it displays it as 900 (currency).

    When dynamic discounts are active, there is also this problem on the card and checkout pages.

    I was generally happy with the theme, but when multi currency was activated, I encountered many errors.

    1. It means you need to add more items to meet free shipping requirements, so it can’t be the same as price of products you added.

    I suggest you check the following articles on how to adjust the shipping:

    2. Single product page

    You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

    1. I’m not trying to make that you said. I don’t know how you understood like this. I mean, when I activate multi-currency, the shipping limits goes wrong. I see it calculates the currency 3 times.

    For example: Shipping limit is 100 USD and it must be 140 CAD. But it says 420 CAD.

    And if I activate dynamic discounts in theme settings (I need this feature also), then normal product prices are goes wrong too. Then it calculates twise, so 2x.

    2. I already did it, and problem comes from the theme. I don’t want to play with theme’s original files.

    I disabled the multi-currency because of these problems. And I need to reactive it.

    Yes, I have disabled the currency due to errors. I cannot open it because there is traffic on the site right now. Do you have the chance to do these checks on a demo address?

    1. The prices of the products added to the card are distorted. (Converts 2 times according to the exchange rate)

    2. The free shipping limit is distorted. (Converts 3 times according to the exchange rate)

    3. When you add to the cart on the single product page, it always adds in the store currency. (Not visitor’s currency)

    If it works properly on a demo address, I can also compare with that.

    I just stopped all ads and activated multi currency with classic WooPay. You can see all 3 issues on the website.

    I already did it. And they are comes from theme.

    Note: Free shipping bar issue looks solved after theme update. But other 2 issues still there.

    I attached the video to see in detail about issue. 2x calculating issue comes from dynamic discounts.

    And I have no idea about add-to-cart issue in single product pages.

    The website is still waiting with multi-currency active. So the errors on the page continue. I can’t wait too long like this.

    I also tested it with another theme too and the problems were fixed. So the problems are caused by the Woodmart theme.

    Unfortunately, if we can’t solve it soon, I will have to continue with another theme.

    Problem with the quantity on the mini cart on your site, it works like this https://monosnap.com/file/bwfULcYq1xFKOJRFZGz2jt4GY90Y9T and unfortunately there is no ready-made solution to solve this problem at this time.

    Unfortunately, percentage way doesn’t work. But it’s not important because all other problems are must be solved together.

    This company will sell to more than 10 countries and the ads are almost ready — they are being tested. But with these issues it is not possible. Has your team started to solve these issues? When will it be solved?

    Also, try to enable Based on WooCommerce zones option and try again.
