douglaslovin83ParticipantI’m using the drinks theme. I have every other page on the site working fine however the Single Product Page header doesn’t seem to be working fine.
What settings do I check? Its choosing the right header but its not choosing the little header image for the overlap I think.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
For the header that you defined for the product page disable the “Overlap” functionality – https://take.ms/8HZn2
Then clear the cache and check how it works.

douglaslovin83ParticipantI tried that, it makes the header look stupid on every page. Im using the drinks demo and the header looks exactly how i want it on every page but the single product page.
I want a solution to make the single product page function the same way as every single other page on the site.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I have checked a random product and there is a normal header that looks the same way as on the home page, here is a video – https://take.ms/vnbRc
Clarify where exactly you have a bad header, send me the URL link to it. Also, send me admin access so I can check the site settings.
Kind Regards

douglaslovin83ParticipantYour video literally shows the exact opposite of what you are saying. The header on the product pages do not follow the same overlap with background as the rest of the entire site. In addition the header with no overlap has a Grey background not the Black i was expecting due to the overlap

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The overlap header will not work correctly on the product page therefore there is an appropriate CSS that calculates additional padding for the overlap header to make it work well. Here is an example of the default overlap header on the product page – https://take.ms/l4RHk as you can see, it cut a part of the product page so that is why the overlap header will not work on the product page as you have it on the Home page.

douglaslovin83ParticipantSo you are saying its not possible?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You have defined the Header overlap globally, in this case, the overlap effect disables on the product page because on the product page there is nothing to overlap, there is no page title and it cannot be here.
In this case, I suggest you create a separate header for the single product page, duplicate the current header in the header builder, disable the Overlap option – https://take.ms/4XuEN and then assign that header to the product page via Theme Settings -> Single product -> Custom single product header: https://take.ms/Ws0Hs. Also, for that separate header, you can change the bg color and etc.
Kind Regards

douglaslovin83ParticipantI’m one step closer I guess…. Looks less dumb. the overlap would have slapped
