A few questions:
When viewing a single product, can the next product page be in the same category?
The search results page is delaying from only thumbnails view to sidebar with thumbnails view. It flashes and then goes to sidebar view. Anything we can do?
The price filter is not working correctly.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to take next product from the same category because this function comes with WordPress core and can’t be customized to these needs.
Could you please provide some screenshot of the problem on the search result page? It seems to work correctly for us at the moment.

Default sorting – Low to High or High to Low not working

This widget comes with WooCommerce. Could you please check how it works on default WordPress theme to understand if it is a Basel issue or not?

Some categories it seems to work with Twenty Seventeen theme but not all. Sporatic.
It means that the problem comes with some of the additional plugins installed. Try to disable them all one by one and see how it works.
When I deactivated all plugins except for Woocommerce, the sorting would not work – wouldn’t refresh and resort?
Do you mean that this function doesn’t work with the default theme and without any plugins activated? Then it seems to be a WooCommerce plugin issue.
