I saw the screenshot you attached.

You need to create a slider from Slides >> Slider.

Then you need to add the slides to that slider by editing each slide.

Then you can display the slider on the MainPage using the slider element of the theme.

You can try enabling the stretch row for the row in which you added the slider element.

Please remove the images from the rows and try adding them as featured images.
