slider help

Hello, i am new here but not new to using themes and WP but i have been away for nearly 10 years so please bare with me.

i am finding this whole lay out very confusing there seems to be a lot of different sites for support and information, not sure why?

QUESTION 1

I am trying to get the slider to work , am i right in saying the slider is build using WP baker or Elementor do i have to use one of these?

QUESTION 2 IF YES does that mean i have to pay for licensing ?

QUESTION 3
will I need to use these one of these page builders for anything else in the theme?

WoodMart works with either WP Bakery builder or Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time. In the process of the installation of the plugin, please install one building plugin, you are going to use. It is not possible to convert an existing site that is built on WP bakery page builder into Elementor.

WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution slider come bundled with our theme but they can’t be activated with our purchase code. Actually, you don’t need to do this. Only in case you want to get free premium support from its author, you can purchase it from Codecanyon. But it is not necessary since we will always provide you with the latest updates in Appearance > Install plugins

Where cant i find the slider i cant seem to get it working and i am confused to which one it is?

you clearfly say the Revolution slider come bundled but then it says not to use this some where because it slows the site down witch is it??

Hi iu have foun the slider but iuts unclear how to make it work please can you exspin where i am supposet to add it to my site ?

there is NO exsample of it working and i have tried to get it to work with no luck. i have aslo looked at yoyur instruction not helpful and again NO exsample of it working .please look at the following site. this is where i want it . i have also asked questions pertaining to index.php page there was a reason for this? please advise i am only having issues because you guys have made it simple for some to use and i a,m not used to not going into the code . its actually making things hard for me? Once i understand WPBACKERY and header builder etc i will be all set. please answer questions quickly because i wont bother you much once i understand how you have designed the use of your theme. ok!

WoodMart theme can work with two sliders:

Slider Revolution. You can install and activate it in Appearance > Install plugins. This is a separate plugin and you need to refer to the documentation to configure it or you can take any demo slider and create your basing on it. This is the link of their official site: https://www.sliderrevolution.com/ You can find Manual and Video tutorials in the Help Center menu item. Our theme is 100% compatible with the slider, however, our support does not cover configuration, creating, and correction of the slider.

One more slider is a light WoodMart Slider. You can find the step-by-step instructions in this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/woodmart-slider/ If you want to use this slider make sure it has been enabled in the Theme Settings > Other > Enable custom slider. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/theme-settings-panel/#other

I have checked your site, I looked through the pages that can be opened, and I do not see any slider on your site.

Please, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area). In addition, provide the page URL where you add the slider and it does not work. I will check and guide you in the slider configuration so that it could work as per your needs.

We have checked the site and we cannot detect which builder is used on your site. Please note: you can use one builder at the same time: either Elementor or WP bakery page builder.

If you use the Elementor, extract the archive woodmart_slider_elementor and import the file by means of the default WordPress Import/Export functionality that is provided in Dashboard > Tools > Import /Export. You can find the instruction here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-export-a-wordpress-site/

In case you use WP bakery page builder do the same and use this file: woodmart_slider_wpbakery

All the custom posts, including WoodMart slides, work on both builders, at the same time as soon as you create the slide, you will be able to create the slide in that building that is installed and activated on your site. I explained that in my response #316775 and provided a link to the full and detailed documentation.

I asked to send the site credentials, the page where you try to add the slider, and in addition, I have sent demo sliders that would help you create the slider based on a demo. It would much easier than creating a slider from scratch never doing this before.
