    Hello,

I’m using the Woodmart Main layout. I’ve installed all the plugins and demo content but I have a problem with the slider revolution. WordPress is up to date. but I dont see the “Main Slider” which comes with the Woodmart Main layout, on the settings of the plugin to customize it. Also the plugin doesn’t show up on the top toolbar. Can you help me?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out!

In the Woodmart Main demo, the slider used is created with WoodMart Slides, not the Revolution Slider plugin. That’s why you don’t see a “Main Slider” under Slider Revolution.

To edit the slider used in the demo:

Go to Dashboard > Slides > Choose the slide you want to edit > Click “Edit with Page Builder” to customize it.

For a step-by-step guide, please follow this documentation: https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/woodmart-slider/

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

However, your answer didn’t fully resolve my issue. I understand that the default Woodmart Main demo uses the Woodmart Slider, but in my case, my homepage is currently using Slider Revolution, not the Woodmart Slides.

The issue is that the “Main Slider” in Slider Revolution is present but not working properly on my project site. I may have misconfigured it while trying to customize it. To understand what went wrong, I installed the same template on another domain to compare the correct setup and behavior.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, Slider Revolution is active, but I need help getting the “Main Slider” to work correctly—just as it does in the demo.

To make troubleshooting easier, I’m sharing the login details and site access link below so you can take a look directly. I would really appreciate hands-on assistance to either fix or restore the slider to its correct state, rather than just receiving a documentation link.

Also, I recently purchased a new license specifically to access support, because I genuinely like the theme and plan to continue using it.

When I started the project and installed the layout template it came by default with the Slider Revolution.

    Hello,

Maybe Slider Revolution is installed and active, but the “Main Slider” has not been created or imported yet. Please try to create a slider with Slider Revolution and add it to the home page and check the issue.
If the issue remains after creating the slider, please give me site access because I am unable to visit or log in to your site: https://ibb.co/Gv3qZSmW

    Best Regards.

    Hello Aizaz,

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, Slider Revolution is installed and activated by default. I also imported another layout (Fashion Flat), and it successfully created a new slider in the Slider Revolution plugin (see screenshot). This confirms the plugin is working correctly in general.

The slider does appear on the homepage of my main project site — but it’s not functioning properly after I tried customizing it. To troubleshoot, I installed a new WoodMart theme on a second domain to compare the setup and better understand how to fix the issue.

    Here’s what I’ve discovered:

    – The new installation includes the Slider Revolution plugin, but there is no “Main Slider” present in the plugin dashboard.

    – It seems the latest WoodMart Main demo no longer uses Slider Revolution as the default slider, which may be part of the confusion.

    To clarify:

    – On my main project site (which is already 80% done), the Slider Revolution slider is visible but broken — it’s not animating and is not editable.

    – On the secondary demo site, the Main Slider is completely missing from Slider Revolution.

I’ve already spent 3 full days reading your documentation, searching the forums, and then another 3 days going back and forth requesting support — all just trying to get this one slider fixed.

I even decided to buy a new license instead of extending support, just to speed up the solution, because I genuinely like your theme and want to keep using it.

I’m sure this issue can be fixed in less than five minutes by someone on your team who knows the correct slider structure or how to import it.

Please feel free to go in and either fix the slider setup directly or let me know exactly what’s missing so I can recreate it properly.

Thanks again — I truly appreciate your help and time.

    Hello,

When I try to access the site, I receive the following error:
“Forbidden – You don’t have permission to access this resource.”

This usually indicates a restriction from the server or a security/firewall rule blocking external access.

To proceed, please check the following:

    1. Make sure that admin or support access is allowed from external IPs.

    2. Alternatively, you can create a temporary admin account for support and share the credentials securely.
    Thanks for your cooperation!

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.
To resolve the access issue, could you please send me your current IP address?
I’ll whitelist it on the server so you can log in without getting the “Forbidden” error.

    Thanks again!

    Hello Aizaz,

    Thanks for the update.
To avoid delays over the weekend, I’ve temporarily removed the server restrictions that were blocking access. I’ve now made the necessary changes to ensure you can access the site without issues:

    – A temporary admin user has been created for you.

    – The login page is hidden and I’ve shared the custom login URL and credentials.

    – I’ve updated the .htaccess file to allow access to wp-login.php from any IP address.

You should now be able to log in without seeing the “403 Forbidden” error.
Please feel free to log in and proceed with checking and fixing the Slider Revolution issue.

Let me know if you still face any difficulties or need anything else from my side.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

You need to increase the “PHP Max Input Vars” parameter to 10000 or higher in your PHP configuration. You can contact your hosting provider for help on this matter and check how it works.

If the issue remains, please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

If the issue still persists, Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    Hello Aizaz,

Thanks again for your assistance so far.

After increasing the PHP max_input_vars limit, I was able to access the site and check the Main Slider — but unfortunately, the entire layout of the slider is now completely disorganized and broken. It no longer resembles the original demo version.

At this point, I’ve spent over a week trying to fix this issue — reading documentation, searching the forum, and requesting support — with no results. I believe this is something your team could fix very quickly, especially since you’re the developers of the theme.

Could you please do one of the following:

    – Either reset the Main Slider to match the original demo exactly
    or

    – If the current version of the theme no longer uses Slider Revolution, please install and configure whatever alternative is being used in the latest demo.

It would save me a lot of time and frustration, and I’d really appreciate your help with this. I’ve also purchased a new license because I truly value the theme and want to continue working with it.

Thank you so much in advance!

    Regards

    Hello Aizaz,

Thank you for your continued support.

With all due respect, I’ve already spent over a week trying to solve this issue — reading documentation, searching the forum, and exchanging multiple support messages. I even purchased a new license just to get this resolved faster.

I’ve also provided full admin access, created a secure temporary account, “configured the server”, and followed every step you requested. At this point, I believe it would be much more efficient for you — as the developers of the theme — to directly check and fix the Slider Revolution issue on my site.

    Regarding your latest message:

“Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like 2025 or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?”

I’m not exactly sure why of what you’re asking for here. If I switch to a default WordPress theme, it likely won’t include Slider Revolution, so it wouldn’t help me understand or fix the current problem with your theme.

Also, since you already have full access to the site, your team is in a better position to perform that kind of check, if it’s really necessary.

If Slider Revolution is no longer used in your demo layout, then please:

    – Reset or reinstall the correct slider that matches the demo, or

    – Replace it with whatever plugin or setup is currently used in the new layout.

I am sure that for your team this would only take a few minutes. Meanwhile, I’ve already lost significant time over something that should be quick to fix with your expertise.

I will send you again “In Private Message” the login details

Please help me resolve this as soon as possible so I can continue developing my website. Your assistance would be highly appreciated.

Thank you again for your understanding and support.
