Slow Ajax Search

I’ve noticed that the ajax search is VERY slow on my site. Do you have any idea why that might be? It seems like as I’ve added more and more products, the search has gotten considerably slower. I takes about 10+ seconds to return results in the dropdown, which is definitely no good.

Thanks for getting back quickly. Did you try other queries besides that one? I’ve attached privately a recording of one such query. I’d like to know why ajax search is super slow for many of these queries.

Hmm, no it runs on a VPS with dedicated CPU, RAM, and SSD. I’m not sure then why this problem exists. Do you run the demo site on a dedicated server?

We are using the average dedicated server with SSD storage. But our customers who used ordinary, non-dedicated servers did not experience any special difficulties with the search speed.

Hi, any way to speedup ajax search?

We have a not bad server, but with some queryes i have to wait more than 15 seconds!

I buyed a 3th party plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/ajax-search-pro-for-wordpress-live-search-plugin/3357410

Now, i dont know wich one use, your ajax search or the plugin.

Need fast response with search queryes.
