SOCIAL ICONS – LINK TO PAGES

Really cant get this to work properly . . .
Have researched it as well as possible, but doesn’t seem to be working on my system.
If you could give me a step by step instruction to achieve this.
(social media icons are on front page, i wish to have them link to accounts of my choice)

Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Social profiles and insert URL into the Social profiles links and they would lead to your accounts and in the Share button you can enable/disable buttons for sharing

nope that doesn’t work.
thats what i had.
i have already got two urls added to ‘links to social profiles’
(instagram and facebook)
but the only buttons will show up , is if i use “share buttons” and toggle switch to on.
i want to a button link that takes you to my social media account, still not sure how to make this work. wasn’t enough detail in those last steps.

Configure your [social_buttons] shortcode. You can leave the field empty to remove a particular link. Note that there are two types of social buttons. First one is SHARE buttons [social_buttons type="share"]. It displays icons that share your page on social media. And the second one is FOLLOW buttons [social_buttons type="follow"]. Simply displays links to your social profiles. You can configure both types here.

how tho???? thats bassically the description given in the platform, but it doesn’t actually explain how to do it.

Navigate to the Theme Settings > Socia profiles.
You will see two tabs: one for Follo, one for Share. http://prntscr.com/n9hgp7
When you add an element in the Header builder you will see the option what functionality to set http://prntscr.com/n9hh4y
The same in a page http://prntscr.com/n9hibx
Or you can insert the shortcode: [social_buttons type="share"] or [social_buttons type="follow"]
