Sorting doesnt work from the drop down above products

a) On our shop page product sorting doesn’t work from the drop down on the top strip to the right of display columns. (image1.jpg)

b) But it works when Shop Filters is enabled Theme Settings > Shop > Shop Filters is enabled. (image2.jpg)
c) It also works from the sidebar but whatever you sort by (ie, newness or price low to high), only Popularity is highlighted. (image3.jpg)Please let me know how to resolve (a) & (c)

Could you please check how it works with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Because the Default Sorting is woocommerce functionality and our theme doesn’t influence.

I’ve added it to the sidebar but strangely it’s not showing up. Is it because of the caching plugin. I deleted the cache, but no change.
I changed it in Appearance -> Widgets -> Shop Page Widget Area

You are using an outdated version of the theme. Please update the theme and Woodmart core plugin to the latest versions and check back.

Regarding sorting,
I updated Woodmart theme and the core plugin and
Woocommerce product page sorting is working.
But when we select an option to sort, it shows products first (not in the sorted order) and then again shows the sorted products.
How to show the products only in the sorted order.
Kindly take a look.

Sorry, I had mentioned that sorting was working on the product page after updating the theme and core.
But seems like you have enabled filters.
We’re experiencing some difficulties on the site.
