Sorting of search results – no settings available?

Dear,

I have ordered some products in my shop, in such way that they are displayed in a customer order on my shop page.

When I search for the word “orthopédique”, it displays all results having the keyword “orthopédique” but on which basis does the engine show the results?

– by name
– by reputation
– by relevancy (if so, how do you evaluate the relevancy)
– by custom order

Please provide settings to define this !

The search is Woocommerce functionality. You can test the search on the Storefront theme and extract a principle from a collection of facts.
