PW_1990ParticipantThe same problem here. I’m on EasyWP from Namecheap.com.
If you are not willing to fix this issue please don’t claim that your theme is compatible with Gutenberg block editor.

EMParticipantAbsolutely, this is a mockery of us.
They kept telling me to post this, change the hosting a thousand times, your hosting is weak, I describe the problem specifically and this problem will occur with any hyper hosting.
There is simply a problem with the blocks, it causes a serious blockage of the hosting.May 12, 2025 at 9:16 am #659882
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our WoodMart theme and for reaching out to our support center.
Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme and ensure that you have only the necessary plugins active for WoodMart to function properly: WoodMart core, WooCommerce, and Elementor/WPBakery Page Builder.
If the issue persists, kindly provide us with your WordPress admin access details in the Private content field. This will allow us to log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue further.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Regards

PW_1990ParticipantI did disable all the plugins excpt Woodmart Core and WooCommerce. As you could see on the screenshot I don’t have Elementor nor WPBakery and I want to use just Gutenberg page editor, since you advertise your theme as compatible with this one.
Login data provided in Private messge.

Artem TemosKeymasterCan we swtich between themes and install some plugins for tests?
May 12, 2025 at 1:39 pm #659985
PW_1990ParticipantYes, please.

Artem TemosKeymasterWe have switched to the default theme and installed one of the most popular plugins for Gutenberg blocks with similar functionality. Then created a test page with approximately the same number of dynamic elements you have on the custom layout. After reloading a few times we see a lot of loading errors and this page is not available as well. Here are screenshots
https://gyazo.com/4e00b5d9247731ef4dcb77953464bdb0
https://gyazo.com/e216bd0cbfc2d6c32dfd85457dca0c16It means that nomatter which theme is used, your server has some resources limitations. And when there are a lot of server requests, it stacks.

PW_1990ParticipantThank yo for investigating. I passed the information to the hosting provider. They are on it.
I will revert with the result.
May 12, 2025 at 8:41 pm #660158
PW_1990ParticipantSo the hosting provider perform the following actions:
– clearing cache;
– enabling debug mode;
– disabling plugins;
– switching the theme to a default one;
– editing the wp-config.php file;
– replacing the default for all WordPress installation files;
– updating versions of the WordPress installation, plugins, and themes.Their conclusion:
Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to locate the root cause of the issue.The “error loading block the response is not a valid json response” indicates that there is some issue with the JSON request output; however, per our check, JSON and WordPress API work fine on the website.
When we changed the theme to a default one, we didn’t receive any errors.
In this case, we can recommend trying to reinstall the theme and the Woodmart plugin to test if it helps. If, unfortunately, it doesn’t help, we would recommend contacting your developer to investigate the issue further.
Unfortunately, as a hosting-oriented company, we do not specialise in website development or debugging. However, if there is a need to make some server configuration changes, please let us know.
This shows that there is issue with Woodmart blocks loading in Gutenberg page editor.
Please fix this or clearly say that your theme requires another subscription with Elementor.

Artem TemosKeymasterAs we can see per their response, they didn’t try to reproduce the problem as we described.
Could you please perform the test we did with the default theme and test how it works? Record please a video that it works correctly when you add a lot of dynamic blocks and reload the page a few times to emulate a lot of requests similar to the one you see with WoodMart.May 13, 2025 at 7:46 am #660208
PW_1990ParticipantThe problem is not with the default theme. Namecheap did this test. If you want go ahead and run more tests by yourself. You have credentials for admin access.
The problem is only when editing Woodmart layouts which use woodmart blocks.

Please check with the theme Support what settings are required to be added on the Nginx server side for the theme to function correctly and we will gladly assist you with adding them.Maybe this will help to solve the problem.

Artem TemosKeymasterI have already tested with the default theme and saw the same error when there are a lot of dynamic blocks. I provided you with screenshots. Did you see them and try to reproduce?

PW_1990ParticipantCan you Artem explain what have you exactly tested? Or even better send the video.
I switched to Twenty-Twenty-Four, added new layout, added all available blocks (Xtemos blocks are not available there since Woodmart theme is not on) and couldn’t reproduce the error. I also rloaded page several times and still no error.
The JASON loading error occures only when Woodmart theme is on and you edit the layout that uses Woodmart (Xtemos) blocks.
Please take it seriously. Maybe you need to adjust some patch for PHP 8.1.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Here is a video in which we tried to show the error https://monosnap.com/file/YO8SiTPK6Afd0WPnrpZ7Q4IiNFgbyl, we tested it in the 2025 theme, and as we see with active use of Editor, your site stops in some moments.

PW_1990ParticipantThank you. However the error you reproduced is 504 bad gateway and this was not a topic of this thread. It happens when you make many requests/refreshes in short period of time.
The problem I initially reported is Error loading block – The response is not in a JSON response. I don’t see you reproducing this one.
As already explained it occures only with xtemos blocks.
Can you please concentrate on fixing it instead of wasting time on proving that it’s not your problem?
I already contacted my hosting provider and they said that they can make any configuration, but you can not even provide me with requirements from your side.
If you can not fix the compatibility with Gutenberg block editor, perhaps you can install for test reasons Elementor editor with your licence, so I can make sure that this problem doesn’t occure there bofer buying my own licence?

Luke NielsenKeymasterIn the video we provided, it is clearly visible that a 502 error is occurring. This error appears both when loading blocks from the theme https://monosnap.com/file/RCc88ZrkvQPNBksbyssB5Fe4m99yit (particularly in the very first screenshot you sent us https://monosnap.com/file/VrTfHQT5NyDDIjSzf8ZGwMRrjYLVRJ), as well as when using a third-party plugin with the default theme — this is also recorded in the video.
We are confident that the issue lies on the server side, as our blocks were completely disabled during testing, yet the 502 error continued to appear.
We recommend contacting your hosting support again so they can investigate this situation in more detail.
Kind Regards

Please provide with exact steps on how to reproduce this issue on a new page. Please let us know which exact blocks should be added, which product, any additional details, and screenshots.
In order to investigate it deeper, we need the exact steps that we could repeat from our end.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In order to reproduce the issue, they need to add more than 10 blocks to the page that interact with the database — such as product and post elements — save this content on the page, and then reload the page. The problem usually appears after that.
Kind Regards
