    Hello,

I know how to create a mega menu with WPBakery. But I want to create a standard menu with more than 1 column, because the list of items than I can see on a desktop view is to long (see: https://prnt.sc/uG6ifIDYsCpm)
If this is not possible , can you please explain me how I can set a mega menu (in WPBakery) with child categories like I let you see in the example?

    Thanks for your reply.

    Best regards,
    Dennis

    Hello,

WoodMart mega-menu is one sub-menu item. The parent categories are shown as titles: https://gyazo.com/4acac5049336928c0d98cb7e40a3387e and sub-categories follow as menu items.

Please check this manual to configure: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-mega-menu/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

As I told you I know how to create a mega menu, so your explanation is just what I was not looking for.
I want to know how to create a normal menu (not a mega menu) with the same effect as I am showing in the following image: https://prnt.sc/30ThTCOrYzo2. Only then I want to have it in 2 columns to make the list shorter. There are more items in this dropdown menu…
Now I tried it with the setting “Set sizes” (https://prnt.sc/Bx5L5e5fzm3o) in that case it look almost like I want it, but then not the sub categories immediately visable….(https://prnt.sc/31imvHZO9Rra) can this also be a little dropdown?? Now it creates a lot of unnecessary white under the categories without sub-categories.

    Hello,

Thanks for the manual to set up multi-level menus. That was not what I was asking for.
My menu set up looks already like this: https://prnt.sc/Yv_74EbyLuQA
With this as a result: https://prnt.sc/WN5CEbs-iVgF
I hope you agree this doesn’t look good.

Hope you have a better suggestion how to make this look good.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Best regards,
    Dennis

    Hello,

Please switch to the parent theme, and update all the plugins in Dashboard > Plugins. If the problem remains, deactivate all the plugins except these ones:

    Slider Revolution
    WPBakery Page Builder
    Woodmart Core
    Contact Form 7
    MailChimp for WordPress
    WooCommerce
    Safe SVG

If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

Let us know if all the steps give no result.

    Best Regards

I really don’t know why I got this answer.
I have a problem with the menu and gave you access for my backend.
    So did you investigate it?
I am already working with the child theme.

I think your answer is for someone else.

    Hello,

WordPress does not provide the option to create the drop-down menu into two columns. The default menu does not assume a lot of menu items. It is supposed there may be a few times that would fit the screen.

In order to fit such quantity of menu, you may create more item in the first level menu, or use mobile menu on the desktop, or mega menu at least.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
