Sticky Footer

Hi guys,

is there a way to make the sticky footer not being covered by the content? The footer should stick to the bottom on short content pages but not be behind the main content on long pages.

The only way to do that is to diable the sticky footer. As it is the nature of the sticky footer it would not work in another way.

that is why I am asking. I just want a real sticky footer as described here:

The method is easily applicable for a simple HTML page, however, our theme has complicated cross styling and this method is not possible to implement, unfortunately.
