Sticky Header always inherits main header – cannot set different menu

Hello,

I’m using WoodMart version 8.4.1 and I’m trying to create a separate Sticky Header with a different menu than the main header.

Currently, the sticky header always inherits/synchronizes with the main header. Even when I create a new header layout and assign it as the sticky header, it still displays the same menu and elements as the primary header.

My goal is:

* To have a completely different menu in the sticky header
* Not to duplicate or inherit the main header content

What I have tried:

* Created a new header layout (Empty header) for sticky
* Enabled Sticky Header in Theme Settings
* Assigned the new header as Sticky Header layout

However, the sticky header still behaves like a clone of the main header.

I have also attached a screenshot showing the settings I keep changing, but it always reverts back and stays synchronized with the main header.

Is there a way to fully separate the sticky header from the main header and control its content independently?

Thanks for the details and screenshots.

What you describe isn’t supported as a separate, independent layout for the sticky state. In WoodMart there are only two sticky behaviors:

1) Stick on scroll
– The sticky state reuses the same header rows you build in Header Builder.
– To control what sticks, open the row settings for the needed row(s) and enable Sticky there.
– There is no separate header layout for sticky in this mode, so you can’t assign a different menu specifically for sticky.

2) Slide after scrolled down with Sticky header clone
– This creates an automatic clone that contains only generic elements (logo, main menu, search, cart).
– The clone is not editable and will always use your main menu. You can’t assign a different menu or change its elements independently.

But to confirm, having a completely different menu and fully separate content only for the sticky header is not available out of the box.
