    Hello team,
I’m currently using the WoodMart theme and I need help configuring the sticky navbar menu. I have two questions:

    1. I have a lot of product categories listed in the sticky navigation bar, but when it opens, not all categories are visible. How can I make the category list inside the sticky navbar scrollable, so users can scroll down to see all categories?

    2. When I hover over a category that has subcategories, the dropdown that appears doesn’t stretch fully from top to bottom — it looks like it’s floating or has limited height. How can I make the subcategory dropdown menu expand fully to match the height of the parent menu just like on “Mega Electronics” demo on your site.?

Any guidance or settings I should adjust would be really appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    01. The sticky navigation menu items must fit on the screen; in case the menu items don’t fit, you need to somehow reorganize the menu. It is impossible to define the “scroll” there because in this case, the drop-down submenus will be cut off by the “overflow”.

    02. The dropdown not stretching fully from top to bottom usually happens when there aren’t enough menu items inside the mega menu.

To achieve the same full-height dropdown effect like in the “Mega Electronics” demo, you’ll need to add more items or columns within the mega menu. The height of the dropdown is automatically adjusted based on the content inside it.

    Hi, thanks for your reply!

For number 1 — I’ll talk to my team about it first. They feel the current category structure already works well and has been there for a long time, so it’s a bit unfortunate that there’s no scroll option. But I understand the reason for now.

For number 2 — I looked at the “Computer & Office” category in the Mega Electronics demo. I noticed that even though the dropdown menu doesn’t have that many items, it still stretches from top to bottom and starts from the top — not aligned with the selected category.

That’s the style I want, but I’m not sure how to set it like that in my site. I don’t really understand which settings control the height or alignment of the dropdown (whether in the mega menu or in Elementor).

Can you help guide me on how to achieve the same layout?

    Thanks again!

Hi, just a quick follow-up from my previous message.

I understand the limitation about the sticky menu not supporting scroll — but I’ve seen some websites like https://www.jakartanotebook.com/ that also have a lot of categories in their top navigation.
Somehow, they manage to display everything — either with a scroll effect, or maybe a “next” or “more” button to view more categories.

So I just wanted to ask again — is there really no way to make the sticky menu support scroll, or at least show extra categories using some kind of navigation or expandable feature?

Just checking in case there’s any workaround or suggestion I missed.

    Thanks again!

    Hello,

    01. Navigate to Appearance > Menu > Choose the drop-down design “Full Height”.
    Check these menu settings: https://postimg.cc/xJthQkcS

    02. I’ve checked the site you mentioned and the categories are displayed in a custom tab-style layout, which is specifically built into their theme or coded manually. Unfortunately, this is not a built-in option in theme settings.

    Best Regards,
