Strange issue on categories pages

I experience a very strange issue
I have 6 top level categories
If I click on the first one i see all subcategories on the page
If I click any other catgegory I don’t see all subcaegories or I see directly items
Any idea on how to fix it ?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

Woocommerce is a very fuck software !
FIxed myself with 3 code lines showing categories without products
I have a 4 levels category menu and if the 2nd level is not the last level woocommerce don’t show the category
