Stripe error – card fields not showing – just Use a new payment method

Hi,
When checking out with Stripe enabled the credit card fields do not show up, only an option button where they should be with the text “Use a new payment method”.
Then trying to process the order the following error appears:
There was an error processing the payment: There was a problem processing the payment.
This is what is showing on the woodmart_layout/checkout page. If I load the normal woocommerce_checkout shortcode page it shows the checkout fields correctly.
Thank you for any information you can provide as to why would the checkout fields are not showing?

To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.
