shane-5765ParticipantI have an issue where styling of checkboxes on my form can’t be edited. I checked with the form plugin developer and got this feedback: This is a theme issue and this is impossible to solved from within the plugin. The theme is injecting extra lines of code (tags ) into the forms which is totally unexpectable by WordPress best practice standards. So, you will need to reach out to the theme author or think about using another theme as any theme that injects code into your page and other into any plugin output is a security risk.
I put the site onto staging, https://stagingsite.net.za/klay/get-a-quote, but the site the license is registered on is https://klay.co.za.
I have tested also by switching to another theme and then everything works perfectly.
In addition, I have added an image for a menu item under the main nav called enquiry cart, but no image is showing.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Which login page should I use? Because the defaults like wp-admin and wp-login are not working – https://take.ms/WwXi7
Also, clarify what exactly is wrong with the checkboxes, another bg color, shadow and color of the checkmark https://take.ms/Ro1i5 ?
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards

shane-5765ParticipantHi Luke
As you can see from your screenshot attached, only one checkbox is showing and not all 4 per section, the rest below it is not showing. See attached screenshot for clarity. This is a multistep form, please go to step 2 to see this here https://stagingsite.net.za/klay/get-a-quote/
I have added the logins in the private section.

shane-5765ParticipantHi Luke
Were you saying you were able to access the site or were you saying you fixed the checkbox issue. It is not resolved when I just opened the page.
If it is fixed can you tell me how you fixed it?
Thank you

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I didn’t say that it was fixed. Please confirm the permission to check how the form works on the default theme Storefront theme.
I await your response.
Kind Regards

shane-5765ParticipantThank you for confirming, simple loss in translation. Yes you may go ahead and switch to the default theme.
August 23, 2024 at 10:06 am #591956
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I have checked it on the default theme and that form works badly there too, here is a video – https://take.ms/1t2sE
Let me know if I misunderstood something but as you can see in the video, the behavior is the same in our theme and in the default theme.
It’s possible that some plugins affects it, but to be sure, may I disable 3rd party plugins on your side for testing?
Kind Regards

shane-5765ParticipantThat is weird, could have been a plugin update then perhaps. You may do whatever you need, appreciate it, This is a statging site, so you can play around all you want.
Thanks a mil.

shane-5765ParticipantSeems like it is the yoast seo plugin causing the conflict. I disabled and the live site and the checkboxes work, but when I enable it does not. Is the theme compatible with yoast or should I get another SEO plugin? Thank you
August 26, 2024 at 9:44 am #592446
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The theme is compatible with the Yoast Seo, but there is another thing that this SEO plugin doesn’t work with the forms that come from 3rd party plugins and the same issue persists on the default theme so it is possible that the nex-forms are not compatible with the Yoast Seo.
I suggest you contact with the plugin’s developers and ask them to investigate it.
Kind Regards
