eleonora.skarankosParticipantHi, can you help me out with why my child categories are not shown in the menu – see screenshot attached. On mobile I can already see them.

To display the child categories in the desktop category navigation dropdown, you need to add them as sub-menu items under their parent category in the menu assigned to the Categories Navigation.
Please edit the menu used for the Categories Navigation and arrange the child categories under their corresponding parent category, then save the menu changes.

eleonora.skarankosParticipantThank you, I’ve managed to add them but they appear on a very strange background. How can I edit this?

July 4, 2026 at 9:16 am #722970Hello,
Your issue has been resolved. There was a menu background image set under the “Климатици” menu item. I have removed it from your site. Please check back your site and check the issue.

eleonora.skarankosParticipantIs there a way I setup the menu that when I add new product category it automatically goes into the menu as well, or do I have to do this manually every time? Also is it possible that I only show menu items in which there are some actual products existing?

01. Unfortunately, there is no built-in option in WoodMart to automatically add newly created product categories to the menu or to automatically hide categories menu that don’t contain any products.
You will need to manage the menu items manually from Appearance > Menus.
02. Your issue has been resolved. Navigate to Appearance > Menu > edit categories menu > expand “Климатици” menu item and set the dropdown settings to “Set Sizes”

eleonora.skarankosParticipantIs it possible that I have the subcategories listed one below another as I’ve had them on the first dropdown? Thanks in advance!
July 15, 2026 at 10:00 am #723775Hello,
Yes, it is possible.
Please navigate to Appearance > Menus, edit your menu, expand the parent menu item, and change the Dropdown Design option to Default.
This will display the subcategories one below another in the dropdown.
