Sub Cetegory on mobile

Hi,
I want the category menu that has subcategories on mobile to behave like the default WoodMart layout. In the default WoodMart theme, when a category with subcategories is tapped on mobile, it opens a subcategory page layout (you can see this in the screenshot I shared).

However, in my case, when I tap a category that has subcategories, the behavior/layout is different from the default WoodMart behavior.

Where can I change or configure this setting so that my category with subcategories behaves the same as the default WoodMart mobile category layout?

The behavior you’re seeing is because the category page is using a custom layout where subcategories are added manually. In that layout, tapping a category does not automatically open the default subcategory layout.

For other layouts where only products or categories are showing, you need to:

1. Edit the custom layout for the category page.
2. Locate the Product Categories widget.
3. Ensure the Data Source is set to WooCommerce Query so subcategories are loaded dynamically.

Once this is set, your mobile category menu will behave like the default WoodMart layout.
