Template installed but activition doesn't work

I install the zip file normally but when I click activate I have got the message :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_parent_theme_file_path() in /home/creationtl/www/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/classes/Theme.php on line 279

The problem is is that for now I cant’ access even to my wordpress backoffice at all and I have got many files I don’t want to loose if i reinstall WordPress.
Can you tell me how to get back my backoffice first and then I will be able to upgrade my version toxards 5.1+ ?

Try to temporarily rename the theme folder in wp-content/themes/woodmart/ to deactivate it. Then, update WordPress and all the installed plugins and rename it back.
