orvarParticipantI’ve just purchased the WoodMart – Multipurpose WooCommerce Theme and I’m in the setup process. I chose the Mega Electronics template and is importing it but it is stuck at 80% and giving this error message:
The import could not be completed due to a low timeout limit on the server. You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase it to 300 seconds. My server is well beyond this, see screenshot from RunCloud.I see many topics about this issue which is quite disappointing and doesn’t give a “good start feeling” for a new customer.

orvarParticipantHi again
My hosting provider does not want to share the login information to the server. Since I see quite a few topics with this issue, could you rather provide me with the information how to fix it so I can do it myself? I’ve also shared with you a screenshot of the server settings and as you can see everything is well above the required settings.November 11, 2025 at 10:40 am #695309
Artem TemosKeymasterUnfortunately, we can’t investigate the issue without direct access to your website. There could be various reasons for this, such as server configurations or firewall issues.

Artem TemosKeymasterSorry for the confusion, but I didn’t ask server FTP or SSH. I meant that we can’t even see your website because of the server authentication, as shown on the screenshot https://gyazo.com/fdc7147858abe278be9e744e4759a1a8

Artem TemosKeymasterWe see a lot of plugins and already created content that might conflict with our theme’s dummy content. Are you able to temporarily disable all plugins that are not related to our theme so I can test the import function?
Kind Regards

orvarParticipantI’ve deactivated all plugins except Contact form 7, Elementor, Elementor Pro, MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress, SafeSVG, SEOPress, WooCommerce, Woocommerce.com update manager, Wodmart Core. I tried to import the template again but same problem occurs, stuck at 80% and gives the error message: “The import could not be completed due to a low timeout limit on the server. You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase it to 300 seconds.”

Artem TemosKeymasterFor some reason, we can’t view your website frontend at the moment. Could you please check this from your end and confirm that your website works correctly so we can check the import issue?
November 11, 2025 at 6:55 pm #695488
orvarParticipantMy bad, most likely because I deactivated Elementor Pro also. I’ve activated that again, please try again. You can also use the following to log into the admin for our website to do this yourself:

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease use the Private content field to share your website information and hide it from public.
We need to test your website without Elementor PRO since it may conflict with our dummy content.
November 12, 2025 at 2:19 pm #695639
orvarParticipantNoted, thank you for the suggestion. Can you proceed by checking if Elementor Pro is the problem? Or do you need me to do something? Yesterday you pointed out that the website wasn’t working “For some reason, we can’t view your website frontend at the moment” and the reason is that Elementor Pro wasn’t activate, I believe I tried to import the template when Elementor Pro was deactivated without any success but feel free to test it out. Please let me know if you need anything more from me at this moment.

Artem TemosKeymasterWe have imported the dummy content. Note that there a lot of conflicts with your existing data so some products/images/pages might be missing. It is always recommended to import our prebuilt websites on fresh installations.
November 12, 2025 at 7:01 pm #695699
orvarParticipantOk thank you for the information, it has been noted. Can you please tell me exactly what you did to be able to import the prebuilt template? Because this staging that I have currently at staging.mibudin.is is temporary and will be deleted, before a new staging will be created and then I’ll ned to import the template again, so I need to know what was the issue so I can do it myself?
Thank you again for your excellent assistance.November 13, 2025 at 10:55 am #695795
Artem TemosKeymasterTo apply the fix, you need to edit the following file
inc/admin/modules/import/class-helpers.phpand replace lines from 25 to 300 with the followingpublic $links = array( 'uploads' => array( 'http://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/mega-electronics-elementor/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/', 'https://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/mega-electronics-elementor/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/', 'http://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/wp-content/uploads/', 'https://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/wp-content/uploads/', 'http://woodmart.xtemos.com/wp-content/uploads/', 'https://woodmart.xtemos.com/wp-content/uploads/', ), 'simple' => array( 'http://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/mega-electronics-elementor/', 'https://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/mega-electronics-elementor/', 'http://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/elementor/', 'https://dummy.xtemos.com/woodmart2/elementor/', 'https://woodmart.xtemos.com/', 'http://woodmart.xtemos.com/', ), );Kind Regards
