My product page has an overly wide layout. I set both the product image container and the product description container to 50% width each, but the overall width still feels too broad for my needs.

Previously, the Elementor Editor allowed for independent customization of width percentages for each container. However, this flexibility is lost with the Gutenberg Editor. For example, if I set the product image container to 40% width, the product description container automatically adjusts to 60% width, and I cannot customize the width of each container separately to my desired values.

Even if I adjust the product image to a narrower width, a wide gap will appear between the two containers that house the product image and the product description.

    Hello,

When you build the single product layout in Gutenberg using a Row block with two columns, the behavior you’re seeing is expected.

A Row always takes 100% of the container width, The columns inside the row must always add up to 100%.

    So if:

    Column 1 (Gallery) = 40%, Column 2 (Content) = 60%

    You cannot:

Set Column 1 to 40% and Column 2 to 50%

Leave unused space intentionally inside the row, This is the way it works in gutenberg editor.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

So to clarify: is it true that the Gutenberg Editor cannot achieve the same width control as Elementor? Currently, the only available setting in Gutenberg is full width.
