    Around 24 hours ago, some settings on my website suddenly reverted to their default values. For example, the main color, footer copyrights, and page sidebar were automatically enabled, and top notifications were turned off. I contacted my server provider, and they found that the following files had been modified.
    Could you please help me analyze whether this was due to a theme upgrade or some other reason?
    How can I restore my original settings?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the details. WoodMart doesn’t change or reset Theme Settings by itself. The files you listed are core theme files, so their timestamps indicate the theme was updated or re-uploaded around that time. However, updating the theme does not remove your Theme Settings; those are stored in the database. The most common reasons for what you described are a site/DB restore by the hosting provider or Theme Settings being reset/restored by mistake.

    How to restore your settings:
    – Go to Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Backup.
    – Find an automatic backup created before the incident and click Apply. Automatic backups are created when you save Theme Settings and up to 5 are kept.
    – If you have an exported settings file, import it via Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Import/Export/Reset.

    If there is no suitable backup available, please check with your hosting whether any site or database restoration was performed around that time, and ask them to restore a backup from before the change.

    I just noticed that the activation code field was left blank, but it had actually been activated before. When I entered the activation code again, I received the following message:
    It seems that this purchase code is already activated. You can deactivate it in your account on our website.

    Hi,

    That message means your purchase code is still active on another domain/installation. Please do the following:
    – Go to to your XTemos account: https://xtemos.com/my-account/
    – Find your WoodMart purchase code, and click Deactivate next to the old domain
    – On your site, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme license and activate again with the same code
    – If this is a staging site, check the Development domain option during activation
    Note: One license can be used on 1 live domain plus 1 staging/development domain for the same project. You can deactivate a domain from your account even if you no longer have access to the old site.

    If activation still fails, please share the exact error text and we will check further.
