    Hi,

I’ve reinstalled both the Woodmart theme and Woodmart Child several times (cleared cache, re-imported demos, activated all plugins). The prebuilt templates still load with broken layout or header/menu issues — for example, the menu alignment collapses, or the categories block appears on every page.

My goal is to use the default Woodmart layout as a stable base and then customize it with my brand colors and a dark-background homepage. I’m not a developer — I’ve been using CSS generated by ChatGPT to adjust colors and hover effects, so I may have unintentionally overridden theme settings.

    I’d appreciate help to:

Restore a clean, working default demo (header/menu functioning correctly).

Apply my brand colors and confirm the best method to implement a dark-background homepage — with a dark header and hero at the top, followed by alternating dark and light content sections (.dark-home body class, .dark-section rows).

I tried adding custom CSS in Theme Settings → Custom CSS (see attached), but had to remove it after the broken template

Thank you very much for your help — I’m just learning CSS and would appreciate your step-by-step guidance, to avoid broken theme and templates.

I think these issues started since I updated the theme or installed js plugin

Update: I tried clearing cache via Hostinger file manager and WP, and then again reinstalled the theme and child theme. Then I deleted duplicate menu items (overlap leftover from previous installs), but I’m still experiencing issues with layout and menu , and bow in addition to that I think my product categories etc are all gone too

    Hi Artem,

Did you login via Hostinger the url I shared below (under Private content section)? If so the password should be working I just checked.

I have also shared with you a screenshot from Hostinger.

Login to my Hostinger panel (use URL below) -> Click on top right “WP Admin” to access WP Admin

Thank you so much in advance!

Also I messed up top header and Menu options as I was trying to get rid of overlapping items from previous installations. Can you please make them them the same as in the default theme? And I seem to be missing the default product categories as well. Please see attached screenshot.

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Artem,

I’ve completely reinstalled WordPress and the Woodmart theme from my Hostinger panel by deleting all files and databases to ensure a fully clean setup. It seems to have resolved some issues with the website layout, etc, however, it didn’t restore the default demo layout (grids, menus, categories etc) exactly as shown here: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/home/

As mentioned earlier, my goal is to use the default Woodmart demo as a stable foundation and then customize it with my brand colors and a dark-background homepage.

At this point, I’d really appreciate your help to:

    1. Restore a clean, working default demo (header, menu, grids, product categories, etc. functioning as intended).

    2. Apply my brand colors within the proper settings. (See Mini Brand Color Guide and Custom CSS by ChatGPT attached).

    3. Implement a dark homepage — with a dark header and hero at the top, followed by alternating dark and light content sections (e.g., using .dark-home body class or .dark-section rows).

    4. Also Revolution Slider keeps asking me for the license and not working.

Currently I added custom CSS under Child Theme → Customize (See Custom CSS by ChatGPT attached).

Below I added updated URL to login to my Hostinger account to access my WP admin.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance!

Hi Artem, thanks for letting me know. From your image it’s unclear if you are using Hostinger url to login.

Anyways, at this point I’m not sure what to do because I checked the hostinger url ( https://reach.hostinger.com/ ) and my login details – they are working. The only way seems to be to change the email to yours temporarily so you can help me fix the issue asap, as I’m running behind already on the website development.

Can you please provide me an email so I can do temporary password reset for you and/or try adding you as temporary admin ?

    Thank you so much!

I added the screenshots of login steps and what you’re supposed to see when you login into hostinger.

    Hello,

Thank you. We just checked your website and it seems that the theme does work as expected. There are no any errors or problems generated. We also see that you have a lot of custom CSS applied from Appearance -> Customize -> Custom CSS.

WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution slider come bundled with our theme but they can’t be activated with our purchase code. Actually, you don’t need to do this. Only in case you want to get free premium support from its author, you can purchase it from Codecanyon. But it is not necessary since we will always provide you with the latest updates.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Artem,

Thank you for checking my site. The demo on my installation still doesn’t match the original layout — some containers, spacing, and the top menu structure look different. I already tried removing my custom CSS and reinstalling, but it didn’t help.

    Could you please:
    1. Reinstall the theme and demo template so that it looks exactly like the original demo (all containers, menus, and default structure).
    2. Apply a clean black-and-white color scheme — similar to Balenciaga’s minimal style:
    • Primary: Black #000000 for logo, buttons, and main text
    • Background: White #FFFFFF for pages and product grids
    • Secondary: Charcoal #222222 for menus and footer

That’s all I need for now

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we can’t do this because I don’t know how it worked before. As for the color settings, you can set them in Theme Settings -> Styles & Colors.

Let me know if you need any other instructions or assistance.

    Kind Regards

At this point, I’m honestly starting to wonder if the Woodmart theme package I received might be faulty — or if there’s a deeper issue with the demo import — because I’ve purchased and worked with many premium themes before, and I’ve never had this kind of broken layout or unproductive support experience.

There have now been 16 replies on this ticket, but no actual action taken that resulted in a positive outcome. The layout still does not match your default demo — some containers, menus, and spacing are missing or broken — and I continue to see the default green and blue colors across multiple elements even after changing settings in Theme Settings → Styles & Colors and adding custom CSS.

I’m not asking for anything unusual or complex — only for the theme to look and function as advertised:
    1. Reinstall the theme and demo template so that it looks exactly like the original demo (same containers, menus, and structure).
    2. Apply a clean black-and-white color scheme similar to Balenciaga’s minimal style:
    • Primary: Black (#000000) for logo, buttons, and main text (and accent text on dark backgrounds, same as in your “Drinks” demo).
    • Background: White (#FFFFFF) for pages and product grids.
    • Secondary: Charcoal (#222222) backgrounds for menus and footer.
    3. Implement a dark homepage layout — with a dark header and hero at the top, followed by alternating dark and white background content sections

Your recent reply stating “I don’t know how it worked before” is either dismissive, considering long replies history on this ticket, or doesnt make any sense — it’s YOUR DEFAULT DEMO TEMPLATE.

If this still isn’t resolved within the next few days, I want to request a refund and move to another non-themos premium theme providers I’ve worked with before that offer reliable themes and support.

If you aren’t able to help, please escalate this ticket to management so someone can actually review and fix the issue. I’ve already spent over a week trying to get this working, and at this point, I just need the demo and layout functioning correctly so I can launch my site. You or your colleagues may also contact me directly at the phone and email provided below.

    Thanks

    Hello,

OK, we have reinstalled the theme on your website completely to reset its default state and imported the dummy content. Please test from your end now.

    Hello,

    1. Widget in the top bar exists on your website and you can edit it using header builder https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/header-builder/?theme=woodmart

    2. We have restored the categories on the home page.

    3. Try to disable the maintenance mode in WooCommerce Settings > Site visibility > Select the live option.

    4. You can add all the filter widgets you need in Appearance -> Widgets. Only a few widgets are imported for demonstration purposes.

    5. Search popular requests can be added via Theme Settings -> General -> Search -> Popular requests.

    6. Find the instructions on Facebook and Google authorizations in our documentation here
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-configure-facebook-login/
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-configure-google-login/

    7. Actually, all links under ‘Shop’ page in the menu on our demo are not real pages. They are all examples of only two pages: Shop and Single product. But on every page, different settings are applied. So, you can configure any type of shop page or layout for your single product page in Theme Settings -> Shop and Theme Settings -> Product page.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Artem,

Thank you for your recent updates. While I appreciate the progress, several issues remain unresolved and the site still doesn’t match the full demo I purchased.

At this stage, I need you to implement the remaining fixes directly — not just provide setup suggestions. I’ve already followed multiple instructions, but key demo elements, colors, and menus are still inconsistent.

Here’s what I need you to complete:

    1. Recreate my site so it’s identical to the full Woodmart demo (https://woodmart.xtemos.com/home/
    ).

    2. All menu items (“Shop,” “Pages,” “Elements,” etc.), their submenus, and demo page content should be present on my site (so I can easily find and use them when needed).

    3. All widgets, features, and layouts (e.g. AJAX filters, Add to Cart, product search, login options) should function exactly as in the demo.

    4. Apply my brand colors and styling preferences directly as shown below.
As mentioned several times, I already tried custom CSS and settings, but your default theme colors keep overriding my changes.

    Primary: Black (#000000)

    Background: White (#FFFFFF)

Accent: Gold-orange (#cb9500) — same tone used in the “Dark” demo.

Design Goal: Minimalist, luxury aesthetic fashion.

Accent Usage: Use gold-orange sparingly only for small highlights — button hovers, active states, icons, or price emphasis — not large areas or backgrounds.

Adjust the homepage styling to include alternating light and dark sections for visual contrast — without switching to a separate homepage template.

If any settings in Theme Settings, WooCommerce, Elementor, or Woodmart options must be adjusted to achieve complete functionality and visual consistency, please go ahead and make those changes directly. Just leave me a brief summary afterwards so I know what was modified.

My expectation is a fully functional, complete installation that looks and performs exactly like the original demo, with my branding seamlessly integrated across all pages.

    Thank you,

    Hello,

    1. Your website already have our dummy content imported. It might be slightly different to not overload your website with unnecessary data.

    2. As we mentioned, all links under ‘Shop’ page in the menu on our demo are not real pages. They are all examples of only two pages: Shop and Single product. But on every page, different settings are applied. So, you can configure any type of shop page or layout for your single product page in Theme Settings -> Shop and Theme Settings -> Product page.

    3. Please clarify what exactly doesn’t work as expected.

    4. Sorry, but additional customizations like that are out of our theme support scope. If the particular option from Theme Settings doesn’t work as expected, please clarify what is wrong and we will check this.

In general, there are no issues with our theme on your website. But in case you are still not satisfied with the theme’s prebuilt websites, you can request a refund on this page https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new

    Kind Regards
