Theme interfering with translation?

Hello WM Team!

Ever since I installed WoodMart, a few parts were left untranslated although there is a translation for them. For example, this term on both the cart and checkout pages is untraslated. Another one is agreeing with the website terms and conditions at the checkout.

Can you investigate why this is happening?

Hello,

Navigate to Loco > Plugins > Woocommerce and find these phrases there. These words relate to Woocommerce plugin.

I’m using PoEdit as it doesn’t require the use of a plugin. If however, the only way is to use Loco, can the plugin be deleted after translating the phrases?

Would be grateful if you can answer that.

No, Loco cannot be deleted, otherwise, the translation would disappear.
Could you please check how PoEdit works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not?

I have this fear in my head that if I switch to another theme and then go back to the original (WoodMart) it will be broken and all over the place. Tell me my fears are unreasonable and nothing bad is going to happen becausing i’m afraid to try this.

Hello,

When you switch from one theme to another you can lose your setting in widgets. All the rest will remain. You would better to make the full backup before you testing anything.
