Theme settings are not applied on product carousel display

Hello,

I have a site that is in development right now and I have a problem with the display of the products on the carousel.
Even if I have changed the way products appear on hover under the Theme settings > Product Archive > Product Styles they still appear as it is from the demo.

Also inside the carousel, I have chosen under the tab of Design, the option to inherit from theme settings.

Still the same. Let me know if I have to make any other changes to the settings.

Do I understand it wrong?

This option is taken from the theme settings also if set to default?

Ok. Thank you for the clarification. To be honest, the setting that is inside the “Design tab” is not what it seems on the display. So to understand this better, there is a difference if the product is a grid or a carousel. The designs change if it is a carousel.
