questitgrParticipantHello,
We’ve created a staging version of our eShop and attempted to update the theme to the latest version.
We are now facing serious issues with the galleries/shortcodes used in the site’s pages (they are easy to spot with simple browsing) and, most importantly, the product pages are corrupted.
When you visit a product page, you get a critical error (white screen).
Could you please take a look? I have also created an admin account for you so you can check the backend if needed.
Please also let me know exactly what you did in order to fix the issue, so we can apply the same steps on the live site. It would be very helpful if you could document the steps you took to resolve this.
Thank you in advance for your help and feedback.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Please disable all plugins temporarily and switch to the parent theme in Appearance -> Themes. Then test how it works and let us know if it is somehow related to plugins or the child theme.
Kind Regards

questitgrParticipantHey there Artem,
Thank you for asnwering my question so fast.
I did what you suggested and all i can say is that the issue is with the child theme. I tried switching on and off every plugin and the issue only persisted when child theme was active.
Is there any way you can have a look and suggest us where to look in order to fix the issue?

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Thanks for checking that. Since the issue appears only with the child theme active, it is caused by customizations in the child theme. Custom code and template overrides in a child theme can become incompatible after updating the parent theme and WooCommerce.
Check the child theme for overridden templates (for example, files inside a woocommerce or woodmart folder). Outdated overrides commonly cause product page critical errors after updates.
Kind Regards

questitgrParticipantHey there Artem,
I hope you are ok and have an amazing day!
I was trying to redesign the website i mentioned you earlier, at a staging environment of course, and i am having crashed pages issues again.
For example, you can check the following urls in extra information field.
Please, keep in mind that we are facing these issues while logged out from the website. When we view it logged in as admins, everything seems fine.

questitgrParticipantHey again, just an update. We cannot see the rest of the pages even as logged in users / admins. We get the same errors as i mentioned earlier.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Please, disable all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily and switch to the parent theme. Then test how it works and let us know.
Kind Regards

questitgrParticipantHey there Artem,
Sorry but this is a weird answer from you… I have already done all those things, i am working on parent theme as well, since we are having an issue with the child theme.
Next time please have a look at the previous messages and maybe even log in to the site and sneak peak at what is going on.
Cheers

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, I read the conversation. When I checked your website, I noticed that the plugins were enabled again. That’s why I asked you to disable them.
Kind Regards
