Theme Woodmart – Plugin WPBakery

Hello. In order to build a new website https://hilco.am, I created a temporary subdomain new.hilco.am, installed WordPress there and, having purchased the Woodmart theme, installed it under WordPress to create an online shop. The Wpbakery plugin was included in that theme.
But when I built the website, after that I moved new.hilco.am under the main name https://hilco.am. After that, the Wpbakery plugin does not update.
Please help me with this issue. After all, I bought the theme and your plugin is there.

Go to Appearance > Install Plugins and try updating from there.
2- If the automatic update does not work, update manually:
3- Download the latest version from your ThemeForest account.

Navigate to Plugins, deactivate WPBakery, and then delete it (you will see the Delete option after deactivating).
Upload the plugin manually by going to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, and select the archive from theme/inc/plugins/js_composer.

I’m just worried that when I deactivate WPBakery, and then delete it, all my pages that have already been opened and the texts edited with WPBakery, will be mixed up or deleted.

By default, delete WPBakery won’t affect to the content. However, you can backup before proceeding.

Thanks, it worked.
But the next time the plugin requires updates, I can’t update from within WordPress.
So, do I have to do the same thing you mentioned every time until the license for the Woodmart theme I purchased expires in May 2026?

By default, if you could purchase WPBakery the license key separately, then you can update it via Dashboard > Plugins.
Or you can follow my above instructions.
