There has been a critical error on this website

Hello,

I tried installing Mega Electronics but the first time I received issues with PHP. After fixing it I tried installing the theme again but now I have a “There has been a critical error on this website” with the homepage looking like the screenshot below.

I noticed issues with other themes too and even tried to uninstall the entire wordpress and reinstalling it.
I am running wordpress on an Ubuntu 20.03 server.

– WooCommerce

the issue has been fixed.

1. install mbstring: $sudo apt-get install php-mbstring
2. check if extension=mbstring is enable in php.ini file => It wasn’t
