VISIONARYParticipantHi Support Team,
After installing a theme update in WordPress, we encountered a critical error on our website (“There has been a critical error on this website”).
Before the update, we also had an issue: when trying to open the Elementor plugin for editing, it failed to load properly.
We decided to perform the theme update to see if it resolves the problem, but instead the site broke with this critical error.Could you please help us understand what caused this issue and how we can fix it?
Thank you in advance for your support!

VISIONARYParticipantIf reinstalling solves our problems, then yes — you can go ahead and reinstall.
However, could you please confirm whether our settings will be reset to default after the reinstall or not?April 29, 2025 at 12:10 pm #657252
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Theme Settings will be saved after it. Please recheck the issue now and let me know.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Kind Regards

VISIONARYParticipantAlthough the critical error message is no longer showing, the original issue has not been resolved—Elementor still fails to load properly. I’ve attached a screenshot showing what happens during loading.
Please let me know what steps I can take to fix this issue.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please disable all plugins except these ones:
Elementor
Woodmart Core
WooCommerce
Enable the Parent themeThen activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.
Let me know the result.
Kind Regards

VISIONARYParticipantThat was our first step, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem—Elementor is still not loading properly. I have already deactivated all the suggested plugins, but the issue persists.
I’ve attached a screenshot of the loading screen for your reference.
Please advise on the next steps to resolve this.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
If you do not mind, may I do some testing on your end by disabling/enabling plugins and changing the theme to the default one?
I await your response.
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I have checked the issue on the default Storefront theme and the same issue happens there, here is a video – https://dropmefiles.com.ua/en/2s78
I suggest you contact the Elementor support team for further solutions.
