Hi, there are 2 issues with the gallery on the single product page:
    1. the main image does not change by clicking on a thumbnail.
    2. I tried to change the number of thumbnails and make them a bit smaller. Changing the number of the thumbnails per slide in the theme settings did not change anything.
I already deactivated al 3rd party plugins but the issues remained.
    Best regards

    Hello,

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience but can you please once make sure your WoodMart theme and Core plugin is updated to the latest version and then check back the issue again on your Site. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.3.0. If it is not updated then you can update the Theme and Core following the Documentation Guide:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

If the issue still persists after updating the Theme and Core plugin, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site, remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue. If this doesn’t work for you then once also, try to activate the Parent Theme on your Site if you are using Child Theme on your Site.

If somehow the issue still persists, then please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the WP-ADMIN Login details of your Site in the Private Content field along with the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

    Best Regards

    Hi,
I updated from 7.2.5 to 7.3.0 and it broke the layout of the complete site. All rows seem to be set to “strech row and content”. Below the admin login data.

    Hello,

Please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,
I don’t want to keep the live version of the site under construction for a long time just because of the thumbnail settings. I’d rather install a backup of the site to get the site working and then create a staging where you could try to get the thumbnails working.

Hello, even the maintenance mode does not work anymore.

    Hello,

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    Regards

I have the same problem. Image thumbnails are not displaying correctly, it is impossible to bring them to the same view even by installing the third-party plugin you recommend. Can you check this error and fix it?

As far as I know it is not possible to activate maintenance mode in a wordpress standard theme. It requires a plugin.
I installed a backup of yesterday morning. Now I can display a preview of my website with version 7.3.0. The same layout problems. I dont install it until this is solved.

Hi, the plugin CDN Enabler was responsible for the broken layout.

I have i nstalled Woodmart 7.3.1. now. The issue with the thumbnail still persists.

    Hello,

    @b.brenner

Your issue has been resolved. I have deactivated the third party and activated the parent theme. The product thumbnails are working fine on your site.

Check back your site after completely clearing the browser cache.

    Hello,
I am sorry but the issue is not resolved. As you can see on the video the gallery starts to work after clearing the cache. This is indepentend from having the plugins and the child theme deactivated. In the video they are all deactivated. Each time I open the product page I have to clear the cache again. No matter if I cleared it before.

    Hello,
yes, it is working now. What did you change? I changed back to the child theme and activated all the plugins and it is still working. That´s really nice but does not help me much if I still don´t know what has caused the issue. It is solved on the staging. I have to do the same on the production site.
    Best regards

    Hello,

The issue seemed to be related to a conflict between the settings in your child theme and some third-party plugins. Often, such conflicts can lead to unexpected behavior in the theme’s features.

Since the problem is fixed on the staging site, the best approach for your production site would be to replicate the changes you made on the staging site. This involves deactivating third-party plugins one by one to identify which one might have caused the issue and ensuring the child theme settings are as you adjusted them on the staging site.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,
as I told you I did not do any changes on the staging site. Nothing. I just activated the child-theme and all the plugins. Now the child theme and all the plugins are activated on the staging site AND on the prodduction site. On the staging site the thumbnails are working but not on the production site. So the question is again: Did you do any other changes but deactivating the child theme and the plugins on the staging site? I am asking this question because the issue was visible on the staging site and now it is fixed.

Just to be sure I deactivated all plugins and the child theme on the production site and cleaned the cache but the issue is still there.

    @b.brenner

Can you please share the wp login details of your site live site. Also, Please, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back, however, You would better make the full backup of your site.

Hello, in addition to what I wrote above I created a new staging site, updated wordpress and woodmart, deactivated all plugins and the child-theme but the issue with the thumbnails is still the same. Login credentials below.

    Hello,

I have noticed CDN activated on your site. Please disable the CDN and remove the server cache and check the issue.

Thank you, I did that and I will keep the CDN Plugin disabled for a while. But so far this did not solve the issue.
Sometimes reloading the page helps, sometimes not.

    Hello,

Your custom js code is causing the issue. Now I have commented out the code and it is working fine. Check back your site after completely clearing the browser cache.

    Best Regards.

Thanks, thanks, thanks! The code was added by the support of the NextGEN Gallery plugin more than a year ago and I completely forgot about it. I´m really glad you found it. I already deleted the js code on the production site and everything seems to work fine. Thanks again!

NextGEn gallery already caused some problems but it is the only gallery plugin I know where the user can select certain images from the galleryand download them in a zip file. If you know a plugin with a similar feature please let me know!

    Best regards
