    Hello,

could you please check why the thumbnails on product detail pages look strange when choosing a different view? At the moment if have chosen „none“ and get a image carousel. That is the only view that looks correct.

But when I want to have the thumbnails beneath or beside the mail product image I get a strange view.

    Thanks for checking!!!

    Hello,

Yep, I see. First of all, I suggest you try to regenerate your images through the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin for cropping images (more detail in the below article).

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails-new-image-sizes-wordpress/

    Let me know the result.

Thanks for your time and have a great day.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

Please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back.

    Kind Regards

Hi, thank you. We were able to fix it.

We would like to use 150×150 or maybe 250×250 pixel thumbnails (product image gallery). At the moment the thumbs have different sizes which looks not nice.

    How can we achieve this?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You can try to use the “Thumbnails image width” option in Theme Settings -> Single product -> Images.

    https://prnt.sc/Uj0RPKjCE9jc

Then regenerate thumbnails by using an appropriate plugin that is mentioned in the description.

    Kind Regards

Hello, that unfortunately did not work out.

But when I look into the source code, it also looks like a too large image is used here. Even if there is a 150x150px image in the media library.

Do you have an idea how I can fix this?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I suggest you upload images with the same dimensions: https://gyazo.com/d0e4ed55e98cdd884e1131dda8fa6fbc , then in the thumbnails area they will be with the same height and width.

Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need any further help or any other info.

    Kind Regards

Hello, I think we are talking a bit past each other 🙂

According to the source code, the theme pulls the ORIGINAL image as thumbnail. But I want the theme to pull the “-150×150.jpg” file. How can I set this for the element?

In other places I could always choose myself which image size to use. Alternatively, I could select a CUSTOM image size via the element editor.

Please feel free to log into the backend and validate the issue. I approve disabling plugins etc.

It doesn’t do me any good if I use “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin to create correct thumbnail image files, but they are not retrieved by the theme at all.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello,

In Theme Settings, you can only set the width of the thumbnail, and the crop will already crop the given picture in relation to the size. If you want the thumbnail with 150×150 dimensions, then you need to upload an image with the quals sizes so that it would drop to such dimensions.

If there’s anything else we can do, please get in touch.

    Kind Regards
