Elise NoromitMemberHello,
What plugin do you use? If you use Loco, download the latest archive with our theme and take the woodmart/languages/woodmart.pot file and replace it in your theme. Then click the “Sync” button in Loco Translate plugin.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us
Best Regards

Are you translating with Loco? Please provide your site admin access. Insert the credentials into the Private content block.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to translate the parent theme only, delete translation for the child theme and I check and see you have two translations, remove one translation https://gyazo.com/c59bb928b31e93bd3aa5c9bb1ded903a
Woocommerce is 100% translated and I see these translations.
Which string are you trying to translate and give the page URL?

mariti134ParticipantOkay thanks,
Basically I uploaded the file as you said but it was not working and that is why there are too many files. You can delete them and use the drive file I shared. And we translated the whole website in German like My account, Dashboard, Wishlist ect. Currently all the changes are missing. thanksAugust 29, 2021 at 8:23 pm #315242
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Which string are you trying to translate? If you need to translate the WordPress dashboard, you would better set the necessary language in Setting > General.

mariti134ParticipantOkay, Let me explain. You may not understand my problem.
Our woocommerce store is already in German from WordPress setting. But the WoodMart theme is in English. So we translated it using Loco Translate as you said. Everything was translated properly and it is 4th time we lost the translate file from loco translate. At the 3rd time we take help of the team to create the translate file path properly. The WoodMart team created the translate file and correct path. After that we translated the theme language.
The theme was fully translated and we downloaded the file.
After that I didn’t go over the website for a few days and once found the theme again in English.
Note: From the first I was using child theme as active and one day I found our custom function codes which was placed in child and some custom css which was placed in theme customized was missing and I found the parent theme is active. Then I activated the child theme and the next day I found the translate missing. When I switch to the child the translate was fine. Now I have shared the translate file which I downloaded before it destroy, I have share it.
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Most likely you save the file in the wrong location. You need to save the file in
wp-content/languages/themes/woodmart-pt_PT.poPlease upload and check. We recommend making a full backup of your site each time you update the theme or any plugin.

mariti134ParticipantOkay thanks,
I have done everything as you said. I have deleted the other translated files as you said. I have uploaded the file on the directory you said and it is not again change. I have check the po file I have the content which I have changed so it is clear that the file has content. Also on the loco it is showing we have 2990 string changed. But on the frontend it is not change. Also when we are trying to sync it is showing two warning after delete the other translate file and upload the translated file properly. Can you please check and fix it.I have attested a link with the screenshots

mariti134ParticipantThanks,
I found it is working now. If you go to the home page you have MEIN KONTO which is basically my account in English. If you click it the login panel is opening and on it everything is in German. Like log in=EINLOGGEN, Conclude=schiessen, password=Passwort, No we ♡ fashion account? = Kein ” Wir ♡ Fashion” Konto?, Create an account = EIN KONTO ERSTELLEN and many more on whole website. ThanksBy the way can you please explain what was the problem and how it solved? So that if in future it happen again we can fix it ourselves
Thanks for the help.August 31, 2021 at 5:24 pm #315685
mariti134ParticipantAlso one thing I cannot find for translate. On the registration page a paragraph is in English I want to translate it in German but it is not neither from the WooCommerce nor from theme. I guess it is from the theme must but I cannot find out it in loco translate. I am sending link and screenshot of it.
Note: It is in registration page for not log in users.
