Hi, I’ve been using WPML and Loco translate before on Woodmart, but for this project, I would like to use Weglot.

After removing WPML and Loco translate, when trying to edit/translate the .pot file in
    wp-content/themes/woodmart/languages/woodmart.pot nothing happens.

Even when translating with Poedit, and placing the 2 .po and .mo files in wp-content/languages/themes nothing happens there as well.

I would like if possible to edit the .po file immediately and use Weglot.
After the removal of WPML and Loco, has those plugins made different paths? I’m not sure, I can’t get it to work.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We have not tested this plugin with our theme and we do not guarantee 100% compatibility and smooth operation.

As for migration, please contact the plugin support on how to switch from one plugin to another we do not have any instruction.

    Best Regards

    Hi, thanks for quick reply.

I know how to work with WPML, Loco translate and Weglot.
The matter/problem right now, is to translate the theme. I been editing manually or even with the software Poedit the .po file, and no effects takes place on the website.

With other words, all 3 plugins are not activated, or don’t even exist as an installation, I would manually like to edit the .po file and see the changes take effect on the site.
My problem has nothing to do with the 3 plugins mentioned above.

If I use a 3rd part plugin it will work, as it did before.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the issue on the Storefront and try to repeat your steps to detect if our theme causes the problem.

    Best Regards
