Truncate woocommerce long product category description with toggle Read more

Hello,
I have long product category descriptions in archive pages for SEO. But I would like to be able to truncate them to look like eg. https://www.asos.com/men/tracksuits/joggers/cat/?cid=14274
“Read more” not working in woocommerce pages as I found out studying documentation. Hence I have tried to write the descriptions in Woodmart HTML block, but Read more not working in HTML blocks either.
