Turning PORTFOLIO into PAGE

I created a portfolio page called OUR MISSION’, I was planning on having 6 blocks like on portfolio page, and each block is a clicklable page, just like your demo, but now only want the single page as OUR MISSION (which will be a menu item on top of webiste).

I created a new page – and planned to just copy over block by block from portfolio to the new page, and drop page in menu, but in the new page, it does not seem to allow me to create it full size o new page.. see screen captures in hidden content here… It’s easy to see which is which…

I know it’s something super simple and I am being a noob.. I jjst want to copy all blocks on the portfolio page and make ther new page look simialr… ??

1. Please go to Theme Settings > General > Layout and select without Sidebar layout https://prnt.sc/heKFUUa9gKDr which will be applied to all Pages.

2. In case you want to set it for specific only so scrolling down to Page Settings https://prnt.sc/FUxnxnVtdsmc

Regarding blocks, you don’t need to copy these, you can use Library feature, please refer to the following article https://elementor.com/help/template-library/

Thanks for that, I have used templates before, but as i had made my own template I wanted to use that, the side bar it seems was my problem there.
I took the page you created, and added it in the menu, but it is still linekd to portfolio, as can be seen in the url and at the bottom it has the click option to go back to main portfolio, i dont see how this is possible if it is a nbew page? Obvioulsy it’s a dead end and unnecessary link because it goes no where, what’s going on? See picture – it’s at the bottom of the page on OUR MISSION.

I have added your one, and it still lineked to portfolio?
Also, why are all the url weird, like normally would be http://www.mysite.com/ourmission. On our mission page
the url is .com/?portfolio=our-mission. – bit messy??

With your site all the urls are messy, look at the about page in attached pictures… why is it not just /about…?

Thanks – sorted on the permalinks…

But the page you created – it is still linked to the portfolio… ?? If you scroll to bottom you will see the clickable link whihc leads you to master portfolio… even in the url it says portfolio, when this is a page.

oNE PIC IS URL which shows /portfolio And the other pic is screenshot of bottom of page which shows the porfolio menu tab…
It is a normal page, created solo..
I like your portfolio menu and page, but we don’t need 6+ separate portfolio page, we just need the one, well a normal page, which is OUR MISSION page…

Hi I did.. I am confused..
I renamed the page with a P for easy to see it… I refreshed the home page and you can see the menu item has also changed…
But it still is under the portfolio… I do not see what portfolio is coming into it? Can I nort just have a page??? Like about or any other?? Surely I can???!

What does ‘under portfolio’ mean? Do you want to add Our Mission p page to menu instead of Our Mission portfolio?

The whole issue here is I don’t want to use portfolio as the main page, I just wanted a single page, as I have stated, at the very bottom of current page – as it is under portfolio block, there is a clickable action which takes you baclk to the main ‘portfolio’ page – but there are not portfolio pages as I have decoded to keep this bit simple… I want to get rid of portfolio for now, but even after creating a new page (which you helped me with), and adding that page to menu, it still wont rel;ease from this portfolio, I am just confused why, I just want a simple page, the one i have created.

The page I helped you created is this page https://stridepets.com/stride-pets-mission/ and there is NO portfolio block, and it also added to menu as menu item.

While you are referring to Portfolio item https://stridepets.com/portfolio/our-mission/. The part you are talking about is Project navigation which can be turned off under Theme Settings > Portfolio > Single project https://prnt.sc/jYnT6zYp9HrN
