Uncategorized category will not go away

I cannot get the uncategorized to be deleted. I go to settings and i see the default category and i try to change it to one of the other categories but it is only giving me the page categories to choose from not my product categories. Im not sure how to change my Default Product category.

The uncategorized category is added in WooCommerce 3.3 by default and there is no option to remove it completely. Since it is not a part of our theme we don’t have a workaround for this.
