unexpected T_FUNCTION

Hey,

I have just done a fresh install of WP. When I install this theme, it gives an error when trying to access any page on the site, including admin. I have to delete the folder to regain access to the site.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /###/###/###/shopsi.co.uk/wp-content/themes/basel/inc/template-tags.php on line 471

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

This error means that your server is running an outdated version of the PHP. We suggest you update PHP to version 5.6+.
