Unwanted padding-top or margin-bottom !?

Hi,
I need a secondary page with a custom layout. I want to start the page with a slider, but there is unwanted padding or margin, as shown in the attached 1st markup.
If I try to fix it by removing the margin-bottom from the header section or the padding-top from the main-page-wrapper section, it disrupts the landing page’s main slider (2nd attachment), which hides behind the header section.
