Update Issues

Hello, I updated the theme to the newest version and I’m having some issues.

1. My home page does not load, it’s blank. The page is still there when I look at the editor (all visual composer elements still there) but when I try to view the page nothing comes up except the header.

2. I cannot get anything to load into the widget areas. My footer and sidebars have all been thrown into Inactive Widgets. When I try to put them back, the circle just spins and won’t save to the widget area.

Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and switch to the parent theme so we can check it?

Hello, are you sure none of my settings will be lost? I’m really worried that disabling everything and switching themes is going to remove key settings. Is this a must?

You can make the full backup of your site before testing. If something is wrong you would back up your site.

Hello, I did as you suggested and it looks like Jetpack was the issue. I deactivated it and everything went back to normal on the home page. I’m still having issues loading the widgets into the footer/sidebars – but it seems if left long enough they do load. I’m not having issues with internet, but they still took half an hour to load into the footer.
