update old theme

Hi great support team.
First of all, congratulations for the BASEL THEME, truly all in one theme 🙂

I have to update the theme from an obsolete version to the latest version, this is the current situation:
WP: version 4.9.13
BASEL THEME: Version: 4.1.1
BASEL CHILD THEME: Version: 1.0.0
WOOCOMMERCE: Version 3.4.2

1) Is there a major update I need to pay attention to?
2) In what order do you advise me to proceed? WP -> THEME -> WC -> PLUGIN ?
3) is it necessary to update the child theme too?
4) Is there an automatic system to update theme or I need to proceed by FTP?

First of all, make the full backup of your site. You can make a several backups in different ways: on the host, with a plugin, for example, free plugin All in one WP Migrate.

Next, you can update WP, theme, all the plugins.
