Update theme withou loosing translation

Hello, can you please advice, how should I upload theme without loosing all translation? Once I updated the theme, all translation was lost.

For example for English US:

Please copy theme translation files and With a new name like woodmart-en_US.po, woodmart-en_US.mo and upload in wp-content/languages/themes.

Then your translations will never be lost when you update the theme.

Note: The above example is for English US and you can set up your language accordingly.

Please take complete backup of the website before updating the theme.
