Update theme without losing design/style

Hi,

I am on woodmart Version: 0.0.1 as website was developed 4 years back and woodmart was never updated. Recently I got the theme again and tried to update theme in cloned site.

I understand after updating the theme, Header styles got disappearing and home slider also missing. How can i update the theme without affecting my previous design please.

Hello,

To update Woodmart without losing your design, first back up your site completely. All the theme files will be updated. At the same time, all the theme settings and custom CSS remain. Note: If you made some customization/code changes directly in our theme files, you might lose them after updating all files.
