Upgrading from version 3.1.1

Greetings,

I have bought the new version for Basel and installed and activated Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades. Uploading the Theme gives me a fail Error message and there is no where in Appearance – Theme – Basel to enter the licence code for the upgrade.

Please restore the site from the backup, I do hope you made it before the update.

Taking into consideration, that the theme has changed considerably, I would recommend you to arrange a staging site and install a new WordPress installation.

Install the theme and upload the demo (if you want demo) then, recreate the header in the Header

Then recreate or migrate the footer and all the widgets area. As soon as you finish the site configuration, delete all the demos, and import-export the content from your live site.

Finally, you can add the other plugins from the live site one by one checking the site. Then as soon as the site is ready you can move it to the live site.

Updating the theme in the live site would crash part of the site and you will have to recreate some parts of the site in any case.

This is a lengthy process. Is there a way to fix the first page which stopped working without having to basically re-create the site. WP bakery no longer work -WP cannot be updated. I have restored the site several times already. This theme is quite problematic ….

Please restore the site from the backup I will try to update the theme. I will have to deactivate all the plugins that do not relate to the theme, as soon as I upgrade the theme, you will need to make a new backup and then activate other plugins one by one not to crash the site.

WordPress also should be updated.

I have checked the link with the access and the field is empty. Please provide the site admin access.
