Urgent! Site broken! Back button is behaving wierd

An immediate issue on the website: come to https://theaugustco.com/product-category/the-linen-touch/ and then click on product ‘Tessa White Linen Wrap Top’. Now try going back to its previous page, it will make you land on the second page of this collection.
Ideally, the main page of Linen touch should open. As a matter of fact, this what used to happen to date.
This is happening across categories. Please Help. Isn’t there a way to roll back to the previous version of the theme. As we can see in this ticket as well (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/urgent-site-broken-selected-size-are-now-showing-as-selected/) that multiple challenges are being faced by the brand. We’d really appreciate urgent help.
Few additional Info that WP rocket and shortpixel are deactivated.
Further, I believe this is a pagination issue. We have to find that why is pagination happening differently (Instead of autoloading it showing pages) when we press the back button.

Temporarily, I have changed Products per page (Number of products per page) from 12 to 30. This is a temporary fix. Please suggest a solution.

I also understand that the Infinite loading option is just a wrapper over standard WooCommerce pagination But when we sort or go back, we should see the standard page number option, like in https://themes.woocommerce.com/storefront/shop/page/4/?orderby=rating
But unfortunately, there appears no option of going back to pages prior to the page it has landed to.
